Terms and Conditions of Grand Prix 2012

 Drawn on the31^st January 2012 at 4.00pm at the offices of  ITSimple at 4 Albert Street Preston - Melbourne. Entries close at 5.00PM EST (Daylight Savings) Monday 30th January.

Drawn by independent random choice computer program.

Proof of purchase or sale will be required.

Entry only by Protect Crete web page with all fields completed.

Protect Crete staff and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

Protect Crete reserve the right to alter dates, formats or prizes.

All drivers must be 18 or over.

Drawn participants are responsible to make there own arrangements to attend at the relevant track for the State heats.

Entrants from South Australia and Tasmania  are invited to enter the Victorian Race.

Entrants from Queensland, ACT and New Zealand are invited to enter the NSW race.

Enterants from the Northen Territory are eligible and invited to enter the Western Australia race. 

All overseas and interstate participants are required to make there own travel arrangements to attend the race if they are drawn. If they make the Final at Eastern Creek a travel voucher of up to $400 will be supplied to offset travel costs to attend. 

State and National Finals

• Victoria – Aus Karts Port Melbourne Saturday 11^th February 2012.
• NSW – Eastern Creek Karts Saturday 11^th February 2012.
• Western Australia - Kart World Belmont  Sunday 12th February 2012. 

Drivers will be required to sign a standard track indemnity form.

Protect Crete reserve the right to refuse participation of any winner or substitute driver prior to or during racing.

Protect Crete will not be responsible for any costs incurred other than those stated.

Any state winner can nominate a stand in driver who

• has not held a CAMS or AKA Licence.
• will not be eligible for the Grand Prix prize (unless as the winners guest).
• must be available to compete in the finals (unless substituted by the original winner).

The winner is able to attend as pit crew on state race day.

On Race Days winners will be nominated by the track staff, using their timing system and all races will be run under the rules and stewardship of the track staff.

National Finals (Special conditions).

• Eastern Creek    Saturday 18th FEBRUARY 2012

Drivers will be required to sign a standard track indemnity form.

Only finalists or their nominated driver may participate.

The winners will be nominated by the venue manager, using their timing system and all races will be run under the rules and stewardship of the track staff.

Protect Crete will not be responsible for or influence any decisions made by the venue manager.

Winner takes all First Prize will receive 2 Passes to a fully catered Corporate Pass to the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of March 2012  as well as 2 nights accommodation at the Stamford Grand Hotel on the beach in Glenelg. Interstate or overseas winners will have 2 return airfares provided up to the value of $1000.00.

First prize is transferable (not for cash) and the winner can nominate their guest.
