Marina Mirage Carpark

Versatile Protect Crete Densi-Proof was recently used to waterproof the roof car park of the iconic Marina Mirage at Main Beach on the Gold Coast. Danlaid Brisbane won the contract for the 4,000m2 job and provided all aspects of the waterproofing requirements. Dracula’s Roof Top

Dracula’s famous Theatre Restaurant on the Gold Coast has had over 3 million guests. Extending over the existing area, the roof of the castle that houses Dracula’s was raised 5m to accommodate giant bone chandeliers. Densi-Proof’s unique chemistry permanently blocks the capillaries of the concrete to ensure there is no water ingress through the concrete roof. The other big benefit was to give a surface that was stronger and that does not dust, meaning that subsequent applied topical membranes have a better stronger mechanical bond and of course, with no water movement through the slab carrying possible contamination or high alkali, no chance of a chemical break down.
